Raleigh, N.C. (June 5, 2019) – TreeRunner Raleigh, located at 12804 Norwood Road, Raleigh N.C. 27613, is officially open for its 2019 climbing and ziplining season. This year, the adventure park introduces its newest group offering, facilitated Team Building outings.

“Our team building experiences offer organizations an opportunity to get outside of the boardroom and take their team to new heights,” says Brad Foster, park manager at TreeRunner Raleigh. “With over 70 obstacles and zip lines, ranging from beginner to advanced difficulty, you can be assured that your entire group will have a great time climbing at our park.”

Marking its third year in the Triangle, the adventure park will be open six days a week starting on June 12, Tuesday through Sunday, during the following hours.

        Tuesdays: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

        Wednesdays: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

        Thursdays: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

        Fridays and Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

        Sundays: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“We have several events planned throughout the season,” says Foster. “From themed Glow Nights, kicking off on June 8, to Color Fest, Water Wars and weekly Night Climbs, there is something for all ages, stages, and ability levels to enjoy at TreeRunner Raleigh.”

With varying difficulty levels, courses and elements, TreeRunner Raleigh provides an experience that coworkers, families and friends can enjoy together. No prior climbing experience is necessary. Obstacles at TreeRunner are designed to challenge climbers both mentally and physically.

About TreeRunner Adventure Parks

TreeRunner Adventure Parks do not feature just one single aerial treetop trail but a variety of color-coded aerial trails of differing challenge levels, beginner through expert. Climbers choose their trail depending on their age and/or climbing experience. These trails consist of platforms installed in the trees which are connected by various configurations of cable, wood, and rope to form crossings of different kinds including the ever-popular zip lines. Climbers wear harnesses which are doubly secured to safety cables using the park's "always locked on" system of interlocking safety clips. Before venturing onto the trails, climbers receive an interactive orientation and practice session.

TreeRunner Raleigh Adventure Park is located on the campus of the Jewish Community Center of Raleigh at 12804 Norwood Rd. The Park is now open for the climbing season and reservations are available for climbing and group appointments. TreeRunner Parks was founded in 2015 by a team of Michigan entrepreneurs. Their current holdings include two locations in Michigan and one in North Carolina. The fourth location is currently under construction on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. This site is expected to open in the Summer of 2019.
